Notes:  
– Tidal volume should be based on Ideal Body Weight (IBW), not actual weight.  
– Adjust settings based on ABG results, lung mechanics, and clinical condition.  
– Always monitor plateau pressures to prevent ventilator-induced lung injury.  
– Use lung-protective strategies in ARDS or at-risk patients.  
– Weaning criteria should be assessed daily
